About Us

Founded in 1997, we have been serving the

Wisconsin Rapids area and surrounding communities

for almost 30 years.

We believe in compassionate,

affordable care for pets. From routine surgical procedures, 

general wellness care, and sick visits, to top of the line orthopedic surgeries, piezowave therapy, and cryotherapy- we do it all. Offering top-notch veterinary medicine in a family owned and operated practice.

After starting in a mobile trailer, we have grown

into the clinic we now call home. Our outstanding clientele

has allowed Mobile Veterinary Practice to expand further, including a satellite clinic in Rome, WI.

Our veterinarian, Dr. Dan Vruwink, grew

up on his family farm where he developed a

passion for animals. He went to UW-River Falls

for pre-vet, and then to Iowa State for Veterinary

Medicine. He returned to the Wisconsin Rapids area

with his wife, Krystal, where Mobile Veterinary Practice was founded.
